Our Dogs:
Vasya - Darja - Dar - Lyalya - Lesya
Right now (August 2008) we have 4 BRTs:
Russian Guard Vasilisa (Vasya) (OFA hips/elbows/heart/CERF eyes) turned 10 years old January 14, still running several miles a day and top dog of the pack, mother of Darja and Dar. Though not titled herself Vasya is mother/grandmother of multiple champions and working titled dogs. #######
Russian Guard Derzhava Ares (Darja) (spayed), pictured at 3 weeks of age, born Dec. 25, 2003. #####
CH. Russian Guard Olesya Ares RN (6 weeks at the pictures), born Dec. 25, 2005. Yes, two of our dogs were born on Christmas Day, two years apart. OFA prelim hips, elbows, certified heart and eyes. Lesya got three major Reserves by the time she was 7.5 mo old, youngest among all the entries, stayed home while we raised a litter, got back to the show ring to win 3 and 5 point majors couple of days after turning 10 mo of age, against adult competition with professional handlers. Next show a month later - two more majors. Lesya finished her Championship at 11 mo of age with 4 back to back majors, including a 5 point one. Lesya had been shown exclusively by Elena, in Bred By Exhibitor class and qualified for Eukanuba Invitational for 2007 & 2008. Now Lesya has titles on both ends of her name, in conformation and Rally obedience. Lesya represents fifth generation of "American era" of our breeding program. ##### our youngest BRT and the only male -
UKC CH. Russian Guard Rogdaj RA (Dar) AKC major-pointed (eyes and heart clear, OFA prelim hips Good elbows Normal) Dar got a Group placement at his first match at 3 months of age, going behind a Doberman and a Boxer. At 8 months of age Dar won Working Group at the AKC match and got several Reserves to major wins at regular shows, against older competition, both Am-bred and imports. "Very promising puppy" is the usual judges' comment. We rather wait for our boy to mature slowly and stay healthy and active into old age like his mother and other ancestors, than have a puppy who is overdone and heavy at young age only to fall apart by 3-4 years of age. For now we are mostly working on obedience titles. Dar earned his Rally Advanced title at 13 months of age. ##### and the new addition to the pack of big hairy dogs - American Hairless Terrier
CH. WMK's DNyle is Blyss @Alesta She is 15 lb and 14.5" tall at 1 year of age. Big dogs love her Click here to see how much. Lyalya finished her UKC championship in two weekends and has Group 1, three Group 2 and two Group 3 placements in very strong Terrier group. Lyalya's both parents are health-tested top ranked Best in Show winning Grand Champions with Terrier Racing and Weight Pull titles. Mother is a record winning AHT in history with 362 breed points in 2006 (runner-up is around 250 points). Lyalya's uncle pulled 52+ times his weight at 2008 UKC Premier show. We had been res |
